Discover Chefchaouen and Discover Yourself
If you're feeling a little stale, lost or frustrated, this trip will combine hiking in nature with deep dive coaching to give you some real breakthroughs and insights into creating a magical future for yourself.
There will be a zoom meeting before the trip begins, to set the scene for a truly tranformational experience.
There will be connection with nature through hiking, with time to sit and soak in the environment while you reflect and capture your thoughts in your journal. All hikes will be 'transformational trekking' hikes with thought-provoking exercises and meditations to make the experience more meaningful.
We will hold a cacao and fire burning ceremony to open up the heart, set your intentions and literally burn the doubts, fears and obstacles that are getting in your way.
You will also have the opportunity to explore beautiful Chefchaouen - the Blue Pearl of Morocco. Wander through the medina and soak in the atmosphere as well as the aroma of the fresh spices.
The trip is run in conjunction with Rifcom and your investment will include a donation to the Rifcom charity, who do amazing work helping the mountain communities.

Day 1: Friday 2nd June - Arrival in Africa and the Iconic Jebel Musa
After an early start to reach Tarifa, we’ll board the ferry to leave our European continent behind and cross to Africa! There, we will be picked up by private minibus and taken to the foot of our first walking challenge, Jebel Musa! At 851m high, this is the bigger of the two pillars of Hercules and so the uphill trekking may leave us breathless at times, but the stunning panoramic views will take our breath away!
Having achieved our viewpoint goal (we won’t climb to the summit today due to level of difficulty), we will have a picnic lunch and take some time for a guided reflection before returning down to our transport and be driven along the coastal road, witnessing wealth and poverty, before turning in to the mountains to find our comfortable “albergue” hotel for the night. During the evening, there will be a short workshop to connect with ourselves. Overnight in albergue “Caiat”. Dinner included (bring own picnic lunch).

Day 2: Saturday 3rd June - Discovering the Rif Mountains
After stocking up on breakfast, we’ll head out in to the Rif, part of the Transcontinental Biosphere Reserve of the Mediterranean and packed full of unique biodiversity and stunning landscapes. Today we’ll take a gentler walk of discovery towards the “Ifertan” gorge (5h), starting on an abandoned track and ending at a river where we can refresh our feet or even jump in!
After spending time to enjoy this magical place, we’ll leave the gorge walking next to (or in!) the river until we reach our eco-tourism restaurant for lunch. Later, we’ll be transferred by private minibus to the outskirts of Chefchaouen and then hop in to a 4x4 for short transfer up a quality mountain road to reach our destination for the night, the stunningly situated Tisuka Gite.
Here we’ll enjoy the views and maybe a glorious sunset. There will be a rooftop workshop to connect our goals with our true selves and a heart-opening cacao ceremony and a fire-burning ceremony where we will burn our fears, doubts and limitations. Finally, we will enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner. All meals included today.

Day 3: Sunday 4th June - Out of the wilds to Chefchaouen
After some early morning rooftop meditation, we’ll fill ourselves with an amazing breakfast and then set out on our final walk (approx’ 15km). Passing through the remote village and skirting around (not up!) the mountain it’s named after, Tisuka, we’ll marvel at the epic natural scenery surrounding us, pass by fields still farmed by hand and discuss the local cultivation of “kif”, as well as keeping a sharp eye out for the very shy macaque monkeys in their original habitat.
It’s a great moment when we first see Chefchaouen, then we’ll follow winding tracks down to that ever-more popular town, known as the blue pearl of the Rif. Having settled in to our hotel in the old medina, and after enjoying a rest and a shower, we’ll have a short workshop and then head out in to town for our final night’s celebratory dinner! All meals included today.

Day 4: Monday 5th June - The Blue Pearl of Chefchaouen and return home
Today we’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the comforting knowledge that we don’t need our walking boots/shoes today!
There will be another short workshop followed by an optional tour of the old medina of Chefchaouen and talk about the work that charity “RifCom” does, as well as plenty of time for shopping, reflecting and writing in your journal, or simply chilling in a café and watching the world go by.
After lunch in a typical Chaouen restaurant, we’ll find our bags and then take our private transport for the return journey to Tangiers and the evening ferry back to Europe! Expect to be home quite late tonight, but should be before midnight! (All timings subject to uncontrollable variables including weather and ferry delays.)
Breakfast and lunch included (but not dinner).
