Full Travel Information

You will receive a Travel Guide following your booking confirmation with all the information you’ll need to prepare for your epic adventure. This will include packing lists and weight restrictions.

Visa

Tourist Visa is required for entry which can be obtained online or upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport.

Vaccinations

Contrary to what many travelers think, no special vaccinations are required for those entering Tanzania from the USA, the UK, European Union, or most countries around the globe.

Yellow Fever:

The only exception to this is if you are from or have visited a country that is at-risk for Yellow Fever. In such a case, a vaccination for Yellow Fever is required upon entry to Tanzania. If you do not have one, you may purchase it ‘on the spot’ as you pass through immigration.

However, please note that this vaccine has been taken very seriously for many years, and continues to be the most requested vaccine upon entry to Tanzania.

If you have not traveled to a country with a risk of Yellow Fever, then you do not need to provide proof of this vaccine.

Covid vaccines

You must present a certificate of immunization against COVID-19 if you are vaccinated. But, if you are not immunized, a negative PCR test is equally appropriate. In this case, it is a prerequisite that the PCR test is performed no earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Tanzania.

Although the following are not mandatory, The CDC and WHO
recommend the following vaccinations for Tanzania:
hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR),
Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles,
pneumonia and influenza.

Check with your health consultant and with your government recommendations.

Arrival/Departure:

Your adventure begins and ends in Moshi, Tanzania.

Day 1: Arrival anytime today. You will be met by our driver at the airport who will transfer you 15 minutes to your hotel in Moshi. Unwind and relax poolside. There will be a welcome meeting at 6pm and the reception will give you the details. Dinner is on your own or you can join your fellow travellers.

Day 14: After breakfast, arrangements will be made to transfer you back to the airport. If you choose to stay longer, we can help you arrange additional nights accommodation and any additional tours.
